too tired, too often?

it’s not just age. it’s the habits we think we’ll fix “later”

Hey,

We’ve all had phases where we skipped workouts for weeks, relied on that evening glass of wine to decompress, or lit the occasional cigarette, thinking, “I’ll deal with this later.” We tell ourselves it’s temporary. That our body will bounce back. That we’ll start fresh on Monday.

What if “later” isn’t that far off?

A new study just dropped a truth bomb, and I had to share it with you.

In this edition:

  • When bad habits start showing up in your health

  • Which harms more: smoking, drinking, or sitting too much?

  • What changes if you quit now?

  • How to get the Diwali Glow

  • Recipe of the Week

Most of us grow up hearing how long-term habits catch up with us “later.” Usually somewhere in our 50s or 60s. A multi-decade study out of Finland says otherwise.

It followed people for over 30 years and found that habits like smoking, drinking, and physical inactivity can start impacting your mental and physical health as early as age 36.

Yes, 36. Not 56. Not retirement. Mid-thirties.

And this wasn’t just in people with extreme habits. Even moderate patterns had consequences.

The earlier these habits showed up, the harder it became to change them, and the worse the impact over time.

So Which Habit Hurts the Most?

Trick question, they all do. In slightly different ways, though.

Here’s the nuance I loved: not everyone is affected the same way. Your existing health conditions, stress levels, and even the kind of support you have can change how deeply these habits impact you.

So while it’s not about perfection, the takeaway is clear: the earlier we course-correct, the more powerful the results.

It’s Not Too Late, but It Is Time

Reading all this might feel heavy. Maybe you see your 36-year-old self in this study. Or maybe your current routines are less-than-ideal. I hear you. And I want to tell you something important:

You’re ready for a reset.

Here’s the good news:

  • You don’t need to overhaul your life overnight.

  • You don’t need to punish your body for “bad” choices.

  • You don’t need to be perfect to see progress.

What you do need is momentum. A few aligned, nourishing choices every day. A return to your body, not a rejection of it.

Habits only stick when they make sense for your life. And midlife deserves habits that feel good now, not when we have more time, more energy, or fewer responsibilities.

Diwali Glow™ is a 6-week reset to help you drop inches, boost your glow, and feel good in your body again: no extreme diets, just real support. 💛

No crash diets. No marathon workouts. Just a smart, sustainable plan that works, built for real women with real lives.
